Hack Club starting in January
So excited to announce that Web & Game Programming with Hack Club is now available for enrollment on 4-H Online!
Meetings are 4th Monday of each month starting in January! Event to be updated in the calendar soon!

Mechatronics is ON Today!
We’re about to head down the hill and I wanted to send a note to let everyone know that we’re still having a meeting today.
We’re going to build a binary county and focus on how we’re addressing these ports with bitwise operators.
If we can get to it, we’ll build the alarm detection system.
These labs help us understand how the MSP432 ports are addressed and prep us for adding motors and sensors.
If you’re planning to stay home today, please try to spend some time in the curriculum to answer questions and learn more lessons in both the C and Embedded systems curriculum.
You can also add these video lessons to help augment the NATCAR curriculum.
Animal Youth Fair Success!!
Our Teen Leader Caden presented at the Animal Youth Fair Saturday. 4-H is intended to be youth led. Caden shows us how it's done! Great work Caden!
NorCal Robo Expo Success!!
What a great day at Nor Cal Robo Expo! Thanks to everyone for stopping by and seeing what we're up to!
This event will be an annual event. We'll be working with our club project members to prepare for events next year. Challenges that will be available are:
- Line following - get to the end fastest
- Sumo - master the ancient art
- Firefighter - search a house for a fire and put it out
- and of course - combat!

UC Davis NATCAR
I was very excited to talk with the UC Davis team that is inviting High School kids to participate in what has previously been a collegiate sport - NATCAR.
They have created structured curriculum and are providing advisors to help teams through the curriculum which culimates in the NATCAR competition at UC Davis!
