We’re about to head down the hill and I wanted to send a note to let everyone know that we’re still having a meeting today.

We’re going to build a binary county and focus on how we’re addressing these ports with bitwise operators.

If we can get to it, we’ll build the alarm detection system.

These labs help us understand how the MSP432 ports are addressed and prep us for adding motors and sensors.

If you’re planning to stay home today, please try to spend some time in the curriculum to answer questions and learn more lessons in both the C and Embedded systems curriculum.

You can also add these video lessons to help augment the NATCAR curriculum.

Hack Club at 4H

Held at our Hacker Garage on Saturday July 15, 2017.

Our programming is getting FANCIER: This meeting will start our Collaborative Sketch project! Draw with one or more friends! In this project we’ll be combining HTML, p5.js, Firebase, and jQuery to create a collaborative sketchpad. We’ll use p5.js to manipulate the drawing space, Firebase to keep track of our drawing in terms of points that we’ve marked in our drawing, and jQuery to easily manipulate HTML elements.

Last meeting, we created Dodge, a video game where you move your dinosaur out of the way of falling rocks.

In this meeting, we will be creating a game similar to Flappy Bird, Pitfall and Defender, or for the modern among us, Geometry Dash.  This one is called Platformer.

Come join us on May 20 at 11a at our Club Garage!

You can see a playable demo version here:
